In summer there is the Högsee up on the mountain and Freibad Serfaus in the village. Another place to swim is Badesee Ried in the Oberinntal. As a hotel guest you can also use our hotel pool.

Can you swim in the Wolfsee?

No, the Wolfsee in Fiss is not a bathing lake. It is a place for walks and for play. For swimming, choose the Högsee or an outdoor pool, for example.

Are admissions and rentals free with the Super.Sommer.Card?

Bathing lakes in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

For a swim, it does not have to be the nearest mountain lake. The Högsee combines a ride up the mountain with bathing, and the Freibad Serfaus is in the village. Here we deliberately separate bathing spots from lakes you can visit on a hike.

Högsee in Serfaus

A day by the water, up on the mountain.

You can swim in the Högsee in summer. The Alpkopfbahn takes you to the middle station at Erlebnispark Hög. That way the outing can be combined with playtime on the mountain. Pack something for the way as well as your swimming things. If you would like to stay longer, you will find the barbecue spots around Hög among our hiking ideas. Check operating times and current notices before you ride up.

Freibad Serfaus

Down the slide one more time.

For a swimming day in the village, Freibad Serfaus is one option. A slide, a children's pool and the sunbathing lawn give the afternoon its own rhythm. The Platöll leisure area can also be combined with a visit to the playground. You don't need a lift ride for any of it. The municipality publishes the current opening times and admission prices for your visit.

Swimming in the valley

When the outing goes further.

Besides the Högsee and the outdoor pool, there is another bathing lake in the Upper Inn Valley for a whole day by the water.

If you would like to spend a swimming day in the valley, you will find another bathing lake in Ried im Oberinntal. Allow for the drive from Serfaus and enough time by the water. That way the trip stays a holiday day of its own and is not squeezed in between two mountain walks. Current visiting conditions and information about the lake are available directly from the operator.

Wolfsee in Fiss

One more round of play by the lake.

At the Wolfsee in Fiss, a short walk easily turns into a whole afternoon. A playground waits for the children on the shore, and around the lake you will find quiet spots for a break with mountain views. The circular path is easy to explore with a pushchair too. If you still feel like a game together, stop by the beach volleyball court. The Wolfsee is a place to play and unwind; for swimming, head to the Högsee or the outdoor pool.
