Good news for all carving fans! In Serfaus there is a special carving piste where those who like to lean it over on their turns can push themselves and their skis to the limit.

The carving slope is at the Lawensabfahrt piste, a wide and perfectly prepared piste ideal for letting the skis run. After all that thigh-punishing skiing, where better to soothe those tired muscles than with a massage at the spa & beauty area of the Hotel DreiSonnen?

Race courses

Serfaus has not just one but two permanent race courses where skiers can go up against each other and find out who is the fastest. They can be found on the Schöngampabfahrt and the Peischlkopfabfahrt pistes. Great fun for all the family!

Speed course

What's your top speed? And can you go even faster next time? Who's the fastest in the family? The best way to answer all these questions is with a visit to the speed piste near the bottom of the Zwölferbahn lift. The speed is shown in km/h on a screen.

Video piste

Lots of professional athletes use video analysis to work on their technique. Now you can follow in their footsteps and check out your own style at the video piste on the north-facing side of Fiss. There are special cameras installed near the race course to film you.

Ski School

Learn from the pros at Serfaus Ski School

When it comes to learning winter sports, Serfaus Ski School is your number one address. It is among the best ski schools in Tyrol and has been awarded five Gold and Silver Snow Crystals. The ski school also holds the Quality Award - Snowsport Tyrol bestowed by the Ski School lnstructors' Association of Tyrol.

The standard of the ski school's instructors is reflected in the quality of the courses offered. There really is a course for everyone, from total beginners to experienced experts. On piste, off piste, powder, spring snow - you name it, they've got a course for it! Children's skiing lessons are run by staff with special training to make sure youngsters have fun and stay safe while the learn how to ski.

Funparks & Freeride Routes

Freestyle fun in Tyrol's most beautiful region

Serfaus is an insider tip among skiers and snowboarders who enjoy exploring the backcountry and dialling in their tricks in the funpark. The resort has a number of snowpark areas, freeride routes and fun slopes for all those who like to get crazy and creative. Check out the Freestyle Circus in Serfaus on the Komperdell mountain and the snowpark on the north-facing side of Fiss. Kickers, boxes, rails, jibs and much more are just waiting to be tried!

In the Sunpark or Shredpark freestylers will find butter boxes, rails, small and medium-sized kickers as well as special obstacles – ideal for those starting out or wishing to work on their tricks in a quieter and more relaxed environment. Don't forget to check out the funslope with its fun elements such as the giant snail! And when the weather gods are smiling on Serfaus and there's powder on the ground then freeride enthusiasts head for the ten marked freeride routes!
